This is definitely a MISS for me! Weather Underground has a very popular weather website, but WunderMap disappoints me! The App starts well enough, with a scrollable map and temperature / forecast display – tap the “locate me” button and you get local info abbreviated (current temp only) or full, including a forecast:

The map shows various local Weather Underground stations, and you can tap any one for a summary panel including recent temperature chart:

Apart from the local stations, the map offers radar and/or cloud overlays, which auto animate – but there’s no access to the many other layers available at the website; however what really annoys me is that as soon as you zoom out to better see the coming weather clouds/etc, the “local” weather box changes to some arbitrary place!

I also find the animations much too frantic, updating about 3 times each second with no pause between the last and first frame – it just looks a mess when the weather is active.
