Stone’s Adventure
Not a great game, but perhaps you’ll think it’s worth the $0.99 it costs …
Stone’s Adventure did not start well; after the loading screen above, I selected “Play” and the display went blank – and stayed blank for the minute or more that I waited. I thought I’d been sold something useless, but discovered that a full hard power off / on allowed the game to run successfully (still unimpressed that the game does nothing, rather than just giving a message or running slowly).
Anyway, the game offers various levels to play – if there are only 8 as suggested here, then the game won’t last most folks more than an hour!
The levels that I’ve played so far have been pretty but very un-challenging. Obvious “puzzles” where you use “Mr” to jump high and solve the level so that “Mrs” (sexist / type cast female with child that can’t run fast or jump high!) … here for instance “Mr” stands on the platforms to raise “Mrs” up since she can’t jump that high …
Maybe the levels get harder … maybe there’s more than 8 … but so far it’s a missed opportunity and there’s better choices out there!
