iPad journals – the losers

Saturday, November 13th, 2010

Right since I got my iPad, I’ve been wanting to use it as a daily journal – but I have MANY years of paper journals that I also would want to enter in to the iPad, so I’ve been looking for a journal App with easy entry capability, including a simple way to enter “past” [...]

Maxjournal for iPad – the winner!

Saturday, November 13th, 2010

Maxjournal was the “dark horse” of journal Apps; when I first tried it, it had very limited capabilities but a major update in October brought it to the point where it was very close to exactly what I wanted! Printing with iOS 4.2

Thursday, November 11th, 2010

iOS 4.2 first thoughts

Thursday, November 4th, 2010

After a few hours, I’ve been able to get iOS 4.2 on to my iPad – some effort is needed to find a useable torrent for iPad1,1_4.2_8C134_Restore.ipsw, and also to download iTunes 10.1 beta (without iTunes 10.1, you will get an iOS 4.2 iPad which cannot be used!) First thoughts … folders are finally available! [...]
